  • Binh N. Nguyen

    Binh N. Nguyen is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography at McGill University. Born in Hanoi, Binh focuses on studying the interplay between informal mobility and the digital infrastructure of platform mobility in urban Vietnam. Binh is currently working on his PhD research with Prof. Sarah Turner about the transformation occurring to the livelihoods and mobilities of motorbike taxi drivers in Hanoi.

  • Michelle Kee

    Michelle Kee

    Michelle Kee is a MA student and a videographer in the Department of Geography at McGill University. Michelle focuses on the social impact of new transportation infrastructure in urban Vietnam, such as the new Hanoi Metro. Michelle has previously conducted research with graffiti creators in Hanoi (Kee, Turner & Labbé 2022).

  • Charlotte Weiler

    Charlotte Weiler completed in 2021 a Honours Thesis titled “Conflicting Infrastructure: Nature, Species and Roads in Hemis National Park” in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Guelph. Charlotte’s thesis explores the social and environmental impacts of increased road development in the Hemis National Park (Ladakh, India).

  • Minh Le

    Minh Le is a BA student in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Prince Edward Island. As a research assistant, Minh Le has collected video archives on infrastructure development in Vietnam. Minh is currently preparing a Honours research project on the importance of digital media for education in Vietnam.

  • Prabhatha Meduri

    Prabhatha Meduri is a BA student in the Department of Psychology at the University of Prince Edward Island. As a research assistant, Prabhatha has collected and translated video archives on labour practices and infrastructure development in India. In 2023, Prabhatha will produce photographs of new and projected infrastructures in Hyderabad and combine this visual material with GIS data analysis.
